Welcome to my site!
- My name is Dirk Vanderdonckt. I practice Vedic Astrology, also called Jyotish in India. I was born on
23 May 1968, 10:49 am, in Ronse, Belgium 3E36, 50N45, GMT +1

I started studying jyotish in 1999 out of a desire to make compatibility charts. This kindled my interest in the great science of jyotish and it has not let me loose since the day I bought my first book in Mayapur, India: "Predictive Astrology" by Dinesh Mathur. Soon after, in the year 2000 I came in contact with SJC.

Since Jupiter is in Leo in my second house, my attention in jyotish will mainly be family life, children, finances, food, education, spiritual practices, mantras, punya from previous lives and all those matters the 2nd and 5th houses stand for. My lagna lord Moon is in 9th house, which indicates that I'm a religious person, and is conjoined there with the 8th lords Rahu and Saturn, which gives me higher education in the field of jyotish
and esoteric sciences. If the Lord allows me, I'm planning to write (and teach) on the topics of children, conception, past lives' karma, ayanamsa and so on.
